What do you think of the technology`s advancement?.
Is something that one get used to. We saw the technology as a common thing. We see everything in this life, we can not stop the technology, we get used to listen to the boys with all kind of things, I remember when we played with jars of metal and after that somebody invented the roller, remember when it came the light into the House, when came the TV in black and white and after that to colour, and just one accepts it.
Had you has a trouble with adapting to technology?
With some things Yes, for example when my son gave me the microwave, I did not want to use it, I refused to use it, because it was bad, but now I Cook all the food there.
Which technological equipment used?
The oven microwave, control of the TV, a cell phone that I bought.
Did you receive computer classes?
Not always, I wanted learn how to write to machine and my daughter told me that in Internet there were courses but I did not know how it works.
Have you used the computer?
Yes, to speak with my granddaughter in Europe but it was already on the computer, I do not know how I do to make she appears there.

10: Immigration policies in Costa Rica

The phenomena of immigration could bring as positive as negative aspect to our country. Between the Positive aspects could be: First, the people come to help with our work force and to develop our economy. Second; those people bring the possibilities to share another’s customs of other country and make us a multicultural way of being, third; they improve the tolerance between native and estrangers. Among the negative aspects could be; the arrive of a lot of people elevate the delinquency level of our country, some of the estrangers have negative behaviors that could destroy our idiosyncrasy and finally, it is a problem because many people increase the level of unemployment in our country and the natives do not find work. Whether you believe the government should authorize home schooling in CR. FORO 8: Students should be forced by law to do community service.

The community services in young people bring them the opportunity to develop their personality, no matter if it is forced by law, by their own initiative or like a suggestion of their parents.
This kind of voluntary work brings them the opportunity to form values that could improve their personality through the contact with different realities of their own, also get them the opening to be trained by others young people with a different way of think maybe less selfish and more generosity. In addition, the young people will develop empathy towards others and grow up in solidarity and charity, values that our world needs nowadays.
That is why the community services could be a great opportunity to contribute with the education of young people as good citizens, providing those values and rules of conduct that helps them to face the facts of the life with a strong personality.

How long is longer 50`s, 60`s, 100years? It does not depend on the number of years but on, the quality of life that you may have which includes your mental and physical health.
Some people under 50´s felt like ripe they are 120years. Others that reach the ripe old age of 80´s or 90´s , feel like a 20 year old person. If you face life with stress, anxiety, and bitterness you will feel much older then what you are, because of the weight of your life. If you look at life with patience, wisdom and peacefulness you will probably live longer and feel younger. In addition, if you have good eating habits and do physical exercise everyday not only you will be subtracting years from actual age but also you will be adding quality of life.
The quality of life does not depend on the number of years that you live on the contrary, it depends on the way you think about your life, the way you take care of your mental and physical health.

Foro 6: Animal behavior: It is possible to consider the animals more intelligent than humans?

In some cases the animals seems to have a behavior more intelligent than humans, it is like a special kind on intelligent, as an emotional intelligent. It´s true that humans have conscious also have the possibility to reasoning, they can invent a lot of thinks and use the resources that made them possible to land in the moon and the animals can not. But all that conscious seems that is not useful. For example, the animals have an extra sense that let them to prevent a danger situation, the humans could be prevented but they destroy instead of that. As well, the animals like dogs, had the sagacity to feel if it owner are sad or crying, they spontaneously stayed near of it owner in order to support him or her, without words, without expression, only stand by them. Opposite of it, the humans do not develop the prudence of prevent an emotional status of another human, contrary to; they make an effort to knock down and felt worst each others. Instead of animals reaction by instincts, they only attack when they consider it really necessarily, the humans attack among them only for ego, emotion than the animals do not know. All the animal kingdom would never destroy the nature, on the other hand the humans are destroyed the nature in all the ways possible and they continue to invent another ways, the most amazing is that the animal kingdom have an extra sense to utilized an exactly percent of the resources of the earth to keep the balance in nature, but the humans are different they need to finish with all resources of the earth. Currently the animals have learned to negotiate by food or shelter, like the pigeons in the park, they overcome its own human`s fear and they negotiate with different persons maybe as rote learning they obtains what they need. So it seems like animals have the possibility to memorize and negotiate. Finally another aspect, if the human are cruel with animals, they take revenge, not only the elephants never forget, the entire animal kindom links the feelings with it experience and remember. In that context, it is possible to consider that the animals socialized better than humans, the humans do not receive from the animals a deceived of any kind, and they can not vocalize but if they could, probably they only express supports words and not became a nuisance like some kind of humans.

Social network is a way to join lonely people. In know that is a polemics topic but maybe I´m the last person who do not join every second to interact in any social network. I have a page in Facebook and LindedIn as everybody but checked it upon of time, maybe ones in a month. I affirm that is for lonely people because as a psychology, I open the facebook page to observe the behaviors of people subscribed on it: for example
a) The people develop an urgent needs to be accepted by others, they are desperate to increase the numbers of friend, everybody invite you to join to their pages, and you quickly feels the contagious to accept another people, people who knows and another who do not knows but the goal is to have more than 100 friends per day or per week. That behavior let me thing that new people missed the skill or the art to make friends, when you have to present and talk with people, today just push the “enter” and you have a new friend. ¿have you?
b) There are persons who expend several time, alone in front of his computer, maybe in their rooms, maybe in a desk lately at night in a lonely office, maybe in a library that close late or in a caffe internet interacting with “their friends” in facebook or in a chat, they can not observe that around them, there are not anybody. They are alone…, they close the computer and what?, they walk alone to their house, a place where they, maybe felt more alone… I guest that people do not have family to speak about the day, in the past everybody join to dinner and speak, they are a tradition that we miss nowadays.
c) Finally, some of that people join in a games, in order to share with their new friend and spend all day accepting and giving presents, cards, poems, songs, etc. that maybe in the real live, they can not image to send or to share.

Be as social like in a social network!!

For that reasons and many others that I can observe in facebook is that I affirm that social network, instead of to meet people, it is provoking a lonely society without values and without real friendship. I believe that when I find a friend, I find a treasure but I have to see and hold the friendship.

To the organizer Let me express a sincerely grateful for the conference of Dra. Silvia Castro “El cerebro que aprende”, on January 18th. In that night, was very interesting to compare between the educated person in the past and the educated person in the 21st century. In that time the important was to be formerly educated in a discipline, but nowadays is so different, the education of the future is to have skills, abilities and competencies to confront any challenge in the work or in the simple life. I Desire to highlight the importance that had for me, the emphasis that Dra. Castro proposed, regarding with relation between how we can combine the new learning with all that we already know; such as adult. How we can discover something new and use the creativity on some subject in a topic that for others already was discovered and was a waist of time to think in it. Finally, I appreciate the recommendations and techniques for study, like if we read more, we will read better; If we writes more, we will write better, that we learn more if we cooperates with others; and that we learn best if we experiment. I am a woman that enjoy every second of my life, I love to live!!, I believe that nothing happens for casualty, so this is my life`s philosophy, I enjoy all the thinks that happens it could be a happy, sad, or tired experienced whatever .
For other side, I live in Guadalupe, Goicoechea, I am a psychology specialist in organizational behavior, so I enjoy to meet people, I have a beautiful dog and a parrot, I like very much the animals. I like to share that I had the opportunity to travel to many places and had a lot of experiences in other countries, but I never lived in a foreign Country.
